In this blog post, for those who are interested in what is typically required to create computer software, here is a list of some of the current development information for the TerreSculptor software.

Just for reference:
One year at 24:7 contains 8736 hours total.
One man-year of work is 2080 hours.

TerreSculptor current development information:
- Over 7800 hours, or almost 4 man-years
- More than 252,000 lines of code
- 48,414,034 bytes of code and resource files
- 1070 code and resource files
- More than $320,000 development cost eq.
- Approximately 1/6th of the total number of desired features will be completed for version 1.

And now another sample screenshot of TerreSculptor in action.
This is a DEM (digital elevation model) imported from SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topology Mission).
Location is N46E011, Resolution is 3601x3601, per-vertex rendered with the Desert Oasis colorset.
