These two images are the 2017x2017 TerreSculptor noise generator terrain from the previous Landscape post, exported as RAW-16, along with three custom layer Weightmaps for the cliffs and grass exported as RAW-8, then imported into UDK's Landscape.
The heightmap and weightmaps were about two minutes to make in TerreSculptor, and importing them into UDK and creating the Material was about another two minutes -- no hand-painting required.
I created two Material variations using all stock UDK textures, the first one is rock and dirt plus grass, the second one is rock and sand plus grass.
These examples are far from production quality terrains and require better textures and material design, but this example shows how quickly creation and export of the assets are from TerreSculptor to UDK.
